This year’s Caribbean Series winter league champions’ tournament will be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Gigantes del Cibao of LIDOM (Dominican League) will represent the host country. Five of the six leagues which will compete in the Series have crowned their champions and are preparing for their trip to Santo Domingo.

The LVBP (Venezuelan Professional Baseball League) finals are still in progress. The Caribes de Anzoátegui (@caribesanz) hold a 3-2 advantage over the Navegantes del Magallanes (@Magallanes_bbc) in the best-of-seven series. Games 6 and 7 (if necessary) are scheduled for tonight and Tuesday at Estadio Alfonso Carrasquel, the Caribes’ home stadium.
Caribbean Series action is scheduled to begin the morning of Friday, January 28, concluding on Thursday, February 3 (schedule – Spanish).

I have not found any up-to-date announcements from TV partners, so the USA and Canada broadcast information is based on past TV schedules and the tournament’s English Wikipedia entry.
