MLB Opening Day 2018 is here! I started this blog over the winter and there’s finally some real baseball to talk about!
The action kicks off at 12:40 PM ET with the Cubs at the Marlins. Starting Pitchers: Lester (CHC) and Ureña (MIA). I also plan to follow the Yankees at Blue Jays contest starting at 3:37 PM ET once the Cubs game is over. Starting Pitchers: Severino (NYY) and Happ (TOR).
The Nationals at Reds contest previously scheduled to take place today has been postponed due to inclement weather until Friday at 4:10 PM ET.
Below are my predictions for the coming season (including some wishful thinking). Feel free to add a comment or send a tweet to @farnorthsider with where you think I’ve gone wrong! I will be sure to tally the results at the end of the season and share how well I did. 🙂
