World Series Game 3: Astros Get a Road Win
Game 3 of the World Series opened in Washington, D.C. with the favorites, the Houston Astros, down 2-0 and looking to avoid falling to the brink of elimination.

Houston grabbed an early lead on an RBI single by Josh Reddick, which they never relinquished. The Nationals failed to capitalize on scoring opportunities in the 2nd and 3rd innings, going 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position and leaving 12 stranded.
In the bottom of the 2nd, the Nats had two on with nobody out situation, failing to score when Víctor Robles grounded into an inning-ending double play.
Michael Brantley went 2-4 with two RBI for the Astros thanks to RBI singles in the 3rd and 5th innings.
