Russell Wilson Traded – to the Yankees?

Famed Seattle Seahawks QB, Super Bowl XLVIII champion and abstinence proponent Russell Wilson is on the move to an unexpected destination – the New York Yankees. If you were not aware, Wilson had previously played second base for two years in the Colorado Rockies’ minor-league system after being drafted in 2010. He was then selected by the Texas Rangers in the December 2013 Rule 5 draft and has appeared at the Texas spring training camps before the 2014 and 2015 seasons. Wilson is expected to make another appearance at camp again this year, but unfortunately has no plans to be the next Bo Jackson. I guess if he ever gets sick of concussions, he can fall back on AA ball!

Could this move by the Yankees be a response to the Mets’ signing of washed-up NFL QB and noted devout Christian Tim Tebow?
